FDA issues label changes for statin drugs.
ByRecently the FDA issued label changes for stain drugs. This is just one more reason not to take the drug. Here is a quote directly from their website: “The FDA is also aware of studies showing that patients being treated with statins may have a small increased risk of increased blood sugar levels and of being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The labels will now warn healthcare professionals and patients of this potential risk.”
My hope is that if you currently take a Statin drug to reduce cholesterol levels that you would highly consider making lifestyle changes and get off the medication as soon as possible to avoid unwanted health problems. Below is a short webinar and did with regards to cholesterol lies and sex hormones. Let me know if you have questions as always. Call us at 502-223-2424.
